Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit™ Prerelease

Be among the first to journey back to Middle-earth with Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit™! Join us for a fun, casual Prerelease event where you'll experience the newest set before its official release alongside fellow Magic players.

When you register for a Prerelease event, you'll receive one Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit™ Prerelease Kit, which contains:

• 6 Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit™ Play Boosters
• 1 Traditional Foil Rare or Mythic Rare promo card
• 4 Full-Art Seasonal Hobbit Basic Lands
• 1 Spindown Life Counter
• 1 Deck Box

Using only the contents of your Prerelease Pack and any number of basic lands provided by Trade Shop, you'll build a 40-card Sealed Deck and battle your fellow adventurers through 3 Swiss rounds. Whether you're a seasoned Planeswalker or brand new to Magic, Prerelease is one of the best ways to experience a new set in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Important Information

• Seating is limited, so preregistration is highly recommended.
• There is a maximum of 4 registrations per customer to help ensure as many players as possible can participate.
• Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the event begins for check-in
• If you are not checked in by the start of the event, your seat may be released to players on the waitlist. 
• No prior Magic experience is required. Our staff and community are happy to help new players learn the game.
