By selling my interests in the wholesale shop I eliminated any conflict of interests entirely! See, this really makes great sense, for the fact is that I can now concentrate of top quality, and have set the stage for lower prices, vastly lower folks... Without the pressure from the retailers... I feel it's important to stress here too that I am intending to build the finest of products, and do the most elegant work possible without the middle men, so while I serviced one corporate chain or larger store it compromised my ability to serve you, as the stores all want to make sure that you do not understand the differences, markups and fear what will happen if you do.
I am not from the showroom and the glitter part of this business, I am from the shops and a working craftsmen and diamondsetter, jeweler and engraver, who has lived his life building fine jewelry for the past thrity years. I have no interest in building a retail jewelry store n the web, I want to define something new. a place where you can have that family heirloom built and personalized to your tastes, not the way some brain-dead counter jocky see it...
I did enjoy working on the many many projects for the trade, but frankly the politics and the margins started making me see that the only beauty that was in this trade is in the products, not the promises and lack of judgement at the jewelry counters. had to do something about it, that is my nature.
Until this was done there were seriously large problems looming, and rather than continuing to waste time addressing the concerns of retailers I'm free to work for your, and address your concerns effectively. This made the most sense to me as well, For in the world of business on really cannot serve two masters... ...and as long as there was a potential of continued fear and hate campaigns by retailers and stores owners I felt my efforts, and my effectiveness was being limited.
Rather than trying to ballence all these hopes and fears, and the seemingly increasing conflict of interests, I decided to clear the way for you, the "real people" and some intelligent and creative new alternatives to high markups. low quality and brain dead sales-clerks...
Not having to listen to them is sooo refreshing for me, and I encourage youi to follow my lead. With common sense in very short supply in the jewelry industry I felt this should not be the case on the web, so I dedicate my site, my business and my efforts for you now. I work for the real people who've gotten forgotten for so long...
