Yeah, it was always about keepin the promise and doing the very best work possible. I was suprised at how many stores would use a couple guys in a basement instead of a professional shop. That always suprised me since the promise wa more likely kept by professionals, but the stores would take chances often, and asked to be bailed out often too ... Ray keeps promise, and has little patients or respect for those who only make them.

On the web we can make sure that we are all seeing the same things, then the shop work is both effective and precisely what the customer wants. Not much sense in building something that the customer will hate now, is there???

The shop types might not be a pretty as those well groomed sales associates, but I can tell you that when it comes time to plan the job, and insure success, that they play the most important role in this industry for sure. For it's either done right or it isn't in the end, and that has much to do with the service and the skill of the person doing the work, not so much the promise makers.

So, I guess that when it is all said and done I am here because for thirty years I thought that retail jewelers charged too much, know too little and cared much less than they should about the best service or quality possible. I built this site with a genuine hatered of quick and dirty, and have decided that Tradeshop shall always be associated with the finest in quality, the most experienced and qualified people doing the proper thing at the right time. I think that there are few reasons for poor work or doing less than you can to make every project, every dream coming true, as special and as fine as is possible. I am not here to do cheap work cheap, but rather to make your dreams come true very affordably.
