Ahhh, the wonderful days at the bench, note the headphones!
I
guess that I love the work bench the most, even more than
the keyboard. I write these pages myself too folks, so do
excuse the spelling errors that creep into the pages from
the passion of the moment. I like to think that these pages
are all about taking the magic out of jewelry, and making
it common sense and understandable. Store dudes (and dudettes)
want you to hand over the power, and not to ask too many questions...
Mostly their staff is ill-equipt to field the questions anyway,
so in the malls it's about flyers, radio jingles and marginal
quality at outrageous prices...
Probably still plauged with the idealism of the sixties, that
one man can make a difference, and so I set about personally
writing this site, crafting the pages, and building the custom
that you see in them... I guess that for me the whole thing
revolves around being here for you, and to make that dream
come true... Not about sales, or promotions or ads, but rather
about the human factor and the people who make the world what
it is, totally devoid of ads and totally devoid of corporate
wonk mentality, that is what Tradeshop is about, what is was
about, and what I think makes the defining difference between
jewelry sales companies and my company... The day that the
business is more important than you will be the last day I
am here...
Here's where we build things one at a time, each made to order
and each a very special item that is designed to please. We
don't care about being the biggest and the richest here, we
don't want to try to give Zales or Bend Bridge a run for their
money, for mass marketing is not what we are about. having
done their workd for many years, and dozens of other regional
and national accounts like Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstroms
and... ...on and on, but now I work for you, and I like you
folks one heck of a lot better too... I've invested a life
time in Tradeshop, all I have and all I have built and experienced,
all I own and all I am in this business, to provide excellence,
and perhaps a more human experience, and a more enjoyable
translation of your idea into that family heirloom you will
treasure... Dollars are important, but not the reason I am
here...
"How can I be of service to you?"
