Just received the engagement ring this morning. It is incredible. I love it, I
am certain Cheryl will be thrilled when she gets it on Thur. If its possible,
the diamonds appear to radiate more fire and brilliance IN the setting than they
did BEFORE they were set. I am taking it to work tomorrow to show Eric, and I
am certain he will be impressed as well.
Two questions, when you get a chance:
1) Do you have an outstanding balance statement for me? I'd like to reward you
for this work as is appropriate and I'd like to get a check in the mail to you
as soon as possible.
2) Did you decide against repeating the rim design of the wedding band in the
engagement ring? You had mentioned WANTING to do something on the band portion
of the engagement ring to "match" it to the wedding bands themselves; I believe
using the rim on either side of the wedding band design. I left that decision
up to you, as the artist, however you were talking about it still last time we
spoke. Potentially it was too busy or it just didn't balance right on the ring.
I am certain that decision was the right one, I was just curious as to
why.
