Art Forester's Hidden Page :)
Well Art, I see that you found yer way here as I changed the navigation and built you yer own permenant record page... I sure loved making this ring and will soon have the new designs for the hear, with the stylized back as we'd discussed :)
There's also a possible nice heart shaped diamond in Art's future, so I was asked to sketch up a few quick ideas to consider... Note that the style #3 is pictured with 25 pave' melle diamonds {Grin}... Important to know the style chain, but here's a few ways to make that heartshape diamond shine, and also note that the shapes help to "define" the diamond's shape for an interesting and bold look....
Now behind door number five is a pave centered area, with the heart shape diamond set into a nice bezel to define it's shape... The bail back tapers and we'll make this work with a nice rope chain (2.5-3mm)... {Grin}... Are we there yet? :)
I have a very nice heart shape diamond, measuring exactly 5.70 x 5.70 x 3.18mm weighing 0.66 carats in a "G" color, SI2 here which I can sell for $500.00, a nice diamond and very inexpensive as well...
If I were to slam into the Rap sheet I'd be charging Art closer to $900 but, since our margins are "Cost Based" ( and I buy very smart) you won't see any "fishin' trips" here, except on the weekends that is :) The fact is that Art will end up buying the entire piece for less than he'd be charged for the loose stone alone in a standard situation, Imagine that!!!
Now, to build numbers 1,2 % 4 would only be in the $275-$325 range with the style #3 taking 0.25 carats of round fullcut melle (25 stones) at $300 for the stones and the mounting for $375-$450 tops :) Nice way to celebrate that 25th wedding day, yes? So the moral is that fine jewelry doesn't cost more when made custom to order, Imagine that!!!!
How'm I doing so far Art :)
